Rwanda Air to Serve Europe soon starting with United Kingdom.
It’s not a dream come true but a reality as the best airline with low flight fares to most Africa destinations Kigali, Nairobi, Lusaka, Arusha, Dubai, Kamembe, Brazzaville, Douala / Libreville and many others start to serve the European market in 2017. Rwanda air announced its first move of exceptional services to Europe starting with United Kingdom. This is seen as an opportunity to further boost the Tourism industry in the region by tremendously reducing on connecting Flights and costs involved. With attractions such as Gorilla Tracking, Chimpanzee/Primate Treks, Wildlife excursions with the Big Five on most Travelers minds seeing them in the nature wild besides other adventures like water rafting on the River Nile, Sport fishing, Birding safaris will make life more easier for travelers and grow the industry further.
The Airline signed a code share agreement with Brussels airlines and Turkish airlines as a way of stretching its wings across Europe and flights are operated by Brussels Airlines (Kigali Brussels) and Turkish Airlines (Kigali Istanbul) but all under Rwanda air flights numbers. This co-operation unveiled Rwanda air too many customers in Europe and it’s a back born for its services to many other destinations in Europe with greater direct access.
However the Airline has also engaged in other partnership with other countries around the world like Germany and Holland-(the Bilateral service Agreements) which enable free fly in and out to any of these countries airports without restriction. This relationship is also seen with Rwanda’s neighboring countries Uganda, Kenya,Burundi and Tanzania, Zambia , south Africa among others. Rwanda air craft’s fly in and out without restrictions for example in Nairobi international airport, Entebbe international airport to mention but a few.
Though the airline is famed for being second to none in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and South Africa, this time round UK route will be served with the B787 or A330 according to Rwanda Development board. Since it’s the first market in Europe, customers should the very best of Rwanda air as it ensures safety ad complete satisfaction of its customers. The market is huge and full of competition from giant airlines Like Emirates, British airline, Quarter, Kenya airways, Ethopian airline but Rwanda air will use its good reputation to win customers. Others to be served are Guangzhou, Mubai and New Delhi with which may start next year as new Asian route.
