The Bisoke Hike and Gorilla tour starts and ends in Kigali and if you have limited time you can do the 2days trek.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Ruhengeri

Get welcomed by one of our team and do the Kigali city tour if time permits starting the 3-4 hour drive to volcanoes national park for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day Bisoke Hike

Take early morning breakfast in order to assemble for the hike at the park headquarters by 7.00am.Two porters are given responsibility to take care of you and also support you when the hikes become tough. The Bisoke hike takes between 2-4 hours plus 2 to return to the start point hence one should expect to spend between 4-6 hours on the hike.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking at volcanoes national park

The park rangers and wardens wait for you in the morning at 7.30am Rwanda time for the Gorilla briefing. Later enter the forest for the trek with 1hour of photography with the Gorillas an experience you will even wish your grand child to experience. Drive back to Kigali after the trek arriving in the afternoon for a drop off.
