You can choose to start your gorilla tracking tour in either Uganda or Rwanda depending on your flight schedule and airport. There have been several debates about trekking gorilla in Rwanda in contrast to Uganda as well as which country provides the finest in regards to tracking experience plus photography but the experience is adventurous and same.

Day 1: Morning Kigali city tour and afternoon transfer to Volcanoes National park

Day 3: Transfer to queen Elizabeth National park in Uganda

Early morning, you will have your breakfast and set off to QENP by 7:30am. You will drive slowly via Ruhija reaching Ishasha sector by 11:00am to have game drives where you may be opportune to see the tree climbing lions. Continue to QENP reaching early enough for lunch at your Lodge and spend the evening viewing the park wildlife Elephants, buffaloes, kobs, cheetah, leopard among others. Meals and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge/Katara lodge for luxury,Engazi lodge deluxe and Bush lodge/Mweya hostel for budget.

Day 4: Morning game drives and afternoon Boat trip

In the morning, you will go for game drives, where you will catch up with early risers and see games like lions, bush bucks, antelopes, elephants, water hogs among others. Go back to the hotel for a late breakfast, and relax at the pool side as you wait for your lunch. After lunch go for the breathtaking Boat Launch on Kazinga Channel. Expect to see lots of animals and many varieties of birds at a close range. The boat safari starts at 15:00hours and ends at about 17:00hours. Return to the Lodge for relaxation & Dinner. Overnight at your lodge of day 3.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary

In the morning, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura goge, where you will stay until mid day. You will have lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon, visit the queen Elizabeth Crater Lake, salt lake before retiring for dinner and overnight at your lodge day 4.

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala

In the morning after breakfast, you drive back to Kampala, with en route visit to Igongo meusum in mbarara and learn about Uganda lives and history, Have lunch reaching Kampala in the evening for dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel (Luxury)/Cassia Lodge (Deluxe)/Landmark view Hotel (Budget).

Day 7: City Tour and Departure

In case your departure flight is in the evening, you will have a morning city tour around Kampala, where you will visit the Namugongo Shrines, where the Uganda martyrs were burnt live for refusing to denounce their Christian faith, the National museum, bahai temple, Gadafhi Mosque, the local markets, Kasubi tombs among others. In the afternoon, transfer to Entebbe airport for your departure flight.
